A MESSAGE FROM JOHN

ATTENTION TAXPAYERS:

Another election cycle is upon us and already the professional politicians are at work praising their accomplishments and trying to convince us that they have our best interests in mind.

With the state of the economy and the corruption which has plagued Illinois we are supposed to believe it will be different this time. They will bring about change. Ethics reform and job creation, they have a plan... AGAIN.

It is time for the people of Illinois to reclaim what rightfully belongs to them, the power of government. The power of government must remain with the people because they and they alone are the only ones who can guarantee its purity. It is our elected representatives' job simply to educate and inform, not relieve us of that ultimate power. But in fact, they have relieved us and have used it to push their personal agendas and line their own pockets.

We can no longer trust the same long term leadership which has fatally damaged Illinois' image and has economically bankrupted the state.

It is time for new leadership in Springfield to bring a fresh, uncorrupted perspective to Illinois government. That is why I declared my candidacy for State Representative of the 81st District. Join me as I pledge to be a true "REPRESENTATIVE", representing our community and its ideals, free of outside influence, corruption, or party prejudice, and accountable to you, THE PEOPLE.
